Showreel 95 costs $5 USD before any applicable tax. This buys the downloaded version of the app for one person to use on Macs they own or control. There is no recurring charge or activation server. You may use it to make personal and commercial videos.
You can keep using the version you purchase. Any updates published for version 1.x are included. Future major versions may be sold separately. The purchase does not include source code or permission to redistribute or resell the app. Third-party names and assets remain the property of their owners.
Apple silicon (M1 or later) and macOS 15 or later. Intel Macs, Windows PCs, and Linux are not supported by this release.
If the app does not work on a supported Mac, contact biz@drjoshcsimmons.com with your order number and a description of the problem. We will help resolve the issue or arrange a refund. This does not limit any refund rights that apply where you live.
Your recordings, camera video, microphone audio, project files, and exports are processed and stored on your Mac. Showreel 95 has no analytics, advertising, account login, or automatic upload of your recordings. Optional caption recognition uses Apple's on-device speech recognition. macOS may need to download language resources.
If you enable shortcut capture, the project records modifier combinations and their timing. Typing detection stores keypress timing, not the text you type. Turn off shortcut capture in recording settings if you do not want those overlays.
The checkout provider processes purchases and may collect payment, contact, and tax information under its own terms and privacy policy. If you email support, the information you send is used to handle your request. Sharing an export through another app is controlled by you and that app.
Showreel 95 is an independent application by Dr. Josh C. Simmons. It is not affiliated with Microsoft or Apple. Windows and macOS are trademarks of their respective owners. Classic Windows 95 sound cues are retained in this build.
